Form Fiesta!

It was time for a Saturday Fiesta at 3298. We knew the forms were going to be taken down, so we stopped by to see what exactly the house/basement/garage/retaining exactly looked like. The workers had the world's largest boom box on the hood of their truck blasting Latin music for their, and every neighbor within a 5 mile radius, enjoyment! :) It was no biggie - they were hard at work, so we appreciated that. Here's a sneak peak at the forms coming off.

The concrete has to cure for a few days, so in the meantime we're supposed to be getting our geothermal loops installed and the plumber is supposed to stub in the plumbing framework. I would imagine our well is going to go in soon too.

Let the fun begin! :)
Garage in progress and a good view of the oh-so-needed retaining wall.

Most of the forms have been removed from the house. Did a bomb go off?

That's a lot of forms!

Char wanted to check out the progress! She approves!

Our snazzy new sign! It's a beaut Clark!

So that's how they got those bad-boys down there!

Watching this was totally nerve racking! One of the workers kept walking through the forms as they were being set. Hope they have OSHA on speed dial. :)

This was the first item to grace our property. Noelle (my sister) thought that we had a lot of faith in our mailman - since they'd have to walk their buns all the way to the top of the hill. Haha! Silly sister! ;-)

  1. Hey I thought it was really good spot for the mailbox! A much shorter walk to get your paper.
