Exsiding

The goal for the exterior of the house was to be as maintenance free as possible.  The material we chose for our siding is Hardie Board in artic white.  It is cement fiber board and does not require up keep which is customary with vinyl or wood lap siding.  The window and door trim is a composite material called Royal Mouldings which is white and also maintenance free.  No exterior painting is in our future.  In order to break up the south side of the home, we chose a combo of horizontal lap siding and board & batten material.  It too is made of the Hardie Board and Royal Mouldings.  Here's a sneak peek at some of the exterior progress, with more pictures soon to come.
